A once in a lifetime find - a basically pristine copy. You simply will not find a better copy for your collection. The record was stored apart from the cover from day one to prevent ringwear. The cover has been kept in its shrink wrap, with a careful opening to one edge to reduce pressure to the sleeve.

The only time it has been carefully removed from its shrink was firstly to have it signed by Peter Hook in 2010, and secondly to take the photos for this listing. The record has NEVER been played - taking these photos the first time it has left the printed inner sleeve.

It is the rare,'ruby red' edition, with the square-cornered glossy inner and textured sleeve with the original Garrod & Lofthouse markings. Side A: 1 A PORKY PRIME CUT STEP INSIDE.

Side B: B THIS IS THE WAY A PORKY PRIME CUT. Cover: EX++ This is as close to a Near Mint sleeve as you will ever see. There is no ringwear or scuffing to the front or back - most of these have quite visible ringwear, even the better copies. There is incredibly minor edgewear to the opening edge and corners - I have never seen less wear. Hard to believe that this record is almost 40 years old. The text is bright and fully legible and the spine is neatly square with no denting. I have carefully replaced the original shrink wrap. The cover was signed in 2010 by Peter'Hooky' Hook, who has personally assured me that this is a legitimate autograph (message me for proof). Inner: NM- Basically pristine and as new, with possibly incredibly slight fading (hard to tell). Vinyl: NM The record itself is Near Mint. An unplayed, as new copy. No spindling to the bright, clean labels. And I cannot even spot a hairline scratch even under strong light. Completely flat, no warping at all. Will be packaged with great care in high quality mailers with stiffeners and fragile labels, with the record separated from the cover.
